Our History

LOWANG CONSTRUCTION is a Class-1(A) Proprietary Firm based in Arunachal Pradesh and one of the pioneers in Civil Construction and private investment in this region. The owner Mr.Samman Lowang started his career in Private Sector and worked in various parts of the world before starting his own Construction Firm with a vision of bringing the infrastructure development of NE India at par with the mainstream First World Economy.

The Chairman, Samman Lowang, belongs to 14th generation of Namsang-Borduria Chief’s Family. This family was single handedly responsible for the organization, growth and sustenance of multilingual communities of this region under one Banner. His Grandfather, Shri.Wankap Lowang, joined hands with the British government in 1942 under diplomatic terms and was directly involved in the liaison with the Indian Government during Independence(1947) hoping for better growth prospects in terms of infrastructure and overall economy.

Eventually other members of the family joined the mainstream India and facilitated formation of the state in 1987 with a party less Government with a vision of Economic growth and political stability. Thus providing approval and support of all kinds of Infrastructure based Government projects. LOWANG CONSTRUCTION initially started by assisting Infrastructure base Companies and respective Implementing Agencies to execute their projects by trouble-shooting at site and liaison with concerned pressure-groups.

LOWANG CONSTRUCTION participates and executes all kinds of Government Tenders related to infrastructure based projects pertaining to Roads, Bridges, Buildings, Buildings, Power, Telecommunication etc. in addition to providing integrated consultation services.

E-Tendering

LOWANG CONSTRUCTION has the expertise to participate in all kinds of Government tenders concerned with Infrastructure. LOWANG CONSTRUCTION initially started their Bidding operations in a traditional Box tendering process, but with India’s Vision to go fully digital, LOWANG CONSTRUCTION has kept at par by being one of the first Firms to get trained under the Government scheme and has successfully participated in numerous Online Tenders. Today LOWANG CONSTRUCTION maintains highly experienced team for the purpose and also provides consultation services in the matter of Online/E-Tendering Tendering.

Bridges

In the course of doing road CONSTRUCTION, LOWANG CONSTRUCTION acquired expertise in many minor and major bridges along the way. LOWANG CONSTRUCTION now maintains a team of highly experienced and innovative team of Engineers who are capable of designing and executing the construction of all kinds of Cross River Bridges, Culverts and Fly-Overs.

Roads

LOWANG CONSTRUCTION has participated and executed various road related projects including Rural Roads, Urban Roads, PMGSY, Two-Lane Highways, Four-Lane Highways etc. both as Primary and Sub-Contractor. Some of the Major Road Projects are Sections of National Highways (NH-52B) and Boarder Block Roads at Indo-China and Indo-Burma Borders.

Buildings

Till date LOWANG CONSTRUCTION constructed numerous Government Buildings including Administrative Blocks, Schools, Collages, Stadium etc. and maintains a team of Engineers and workers which can execute similar projects at any terrain under any climate. However LOWANG CONSTRUCTION currently is also associated with some of the best companies who are in the business of construction of state of the art residential houses/villas, apartments and malls of global standards.

Telecommunication

In the field of telecommunication LOWANG CONSTRUCTION has extensive experience in working in both hills and plains. Past Projects are limited to Telecommunication Towers and Optical Fibre Cable laying for private companies and government agencies including Millatary(NFS). LOWANG CONSTRUCTION maintains a team for HDD machine operations and tower erection which includes Electrical & Telecommunication Engineers.

Legal

LOWANG CONSTRUCTION has a team of legal advisors who operate Nationwide having clientele as some nationally recognized Companies and Individuals. Though legal consultations are limited mostly to Law of Contracts and Corporate Affairs, LOWANG CONSTRUCTION is ready to take up on any legal challenges pertaining to Infrastructure Projects.

An Entrepreneur, Social-Worker and a Philanthropist, Samman Lowang is the sole founding member of Lowang Construction whose bidding qualification currently holds upto Rs.50 Crore. His dream was to introduce private sector investment for Agro-based Industries with sustainable modus operandi in terms of Ecology and Economy. But due to still developing infrastructure in Arunachal, he had to get into this industry to do his part. He is also the Chairperson of a Natural Resource Management Society and a Trustee in a Charitable Trust and held office as a spokes person for a National Political Party.

Also holds an Office as a Dist.President for a National Political Party.
